Guidelines for Poster presentation
Posters will be presented from 16:00 to 18:00 in the Vista 360 room on the 19th floor of the Pinnacle Hotel. It is obligatory for presenters to be available in the Vista 360 room during this time.
Prepare your poster in landscape format. Poster board size is 96″ (244cm) wide x 48″ (122cm) high. Plan your poster accordingly. A suggested size is 48″ (120cm) wide x 36″ (90cm) high.
Obtain a number for your poster from the registration desk. This number will correspond to the poster board. You will have the chance to mount your poster during the daytime before the start of the poster session at 16:00.
Material to mount your poster will be provided at the front desk.
Please remove your poster at the end of the poster session.
Guidelines for Oral presentation
Presentation for invited speakers is 30 minutes, 25 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.
Presentation for contributing oral speakers is 15 minutes, 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.
It is essential that you stay within this time limit with your presentation.
The power point slide format should be 16:9. We will be able to display a 4:3 format; however, there will be a blank space on both sides of the image.
Speakers should report to the registration desk and upload their talk at the beginning of the day before the start of the first presentation to avoid any delays throughout the day.
The laptops connected to the audio-visual system run on Windows and have the Microsoft Office Suite installed on them. MacBook users are encouraged to save their files from keynote to a PowerPoint format which could be displayed on the provided laptops.
Presenters can bring their own laptops but it is recommended to use the ones provided as they will already have been setup and tested with the video equipment and this will help us avoid troubleshooting the connection of different laptops throughout the day.
All presenters will have the opportunity to prepare their presentation in a speaker preparation room in close proximity of the ballrooms.
