ICPP-2018 Conference Support

Recipients of any type of financial support must attend conference activities for the entire duration of the meeting.

The categories of support are as follows:

I. DELEGATES FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

This conference support consists of a waiver of conference registration and all conference fees (banquet and tour).

The eligibility requirements to receive this conference support are:

II. STUDENTS

This conference support consists of a waiver of conference registration and all conference fees (banquet and tour).

To be eligible for student support the following is required:

  • The student must be registered at a university and enrolled full-time in either a Master’s, PhD or undergraduate program at the time of application.
  • The student must be the first author of an oral/poster presentation of his/her own work.
  • The abstract must be submitted before applying for the award.
  • Submission of a reference letter from the faculty supervisor or department/institute Chair stating how the student’s conference participation is relevant to his/her research project. The letter must include a statement of the student status (which program and whether they are enrolled full time). It should be sent via email to the conference secretariat (icpp2018@ualberta.ca) with the subject “ICPP 2018 Conference Support”.

III. POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS (WITHIN 5 YEARS OF PHD)

This conference support consists of a waiver of conference registration and all conference fees (banquet and tour).

To be eligible for this category of support the following is required:

  • The researcher must be the first author of a presentation (oral or poster) of his/her own work.
  • The abstract must be submitted before applying for the award.
  • Submission of a CV including all publications and presentations which should be sent via email to the conference secretariat (icpp2018@ualberta.ca) with the subject “ICPP 2018 Conference Support”.
