It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in The 19th International Congress on Plasma Physics (ICPP 2018), scheduled to take place in the beautiful Canadian city of Vancouver from June 4 – 8, 2018.
The ICPP is an important venue to discuss recent progress in the field and look toward the future of Plasma Science. ICPP is broad in scope and includes topics such as: fundamentals of plasma physics, fusion plasmas, plasmas in astrophysics and space, plasma applications and technologies, complex plasmas, high energy density plasmas, quantum plasmas, and laser-plasma interaction.
The scientific program includes invited papers (plenary and review) as well as oral and poster presentations of contributed papers.
ICPP 2018 follows the success of the most recent Congress which took place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and will again bring together world-renowned speakers in the field of Plasma Physics. ICPP 2018 is the 19th Congress; the first was held in Nagoya, in 1980, and followed by similar events in many different cities around the world: Gothenburg (1982), Lausanne (1984), Kiev (1987), New Delhi (1989), Innsbruck (1992), Foz-do-Iguaçu (1994), Nagoya (1996), Prague (1998), Quebec City (2000), Sydney (2002), Nice (2004), Kiev (2006), Fukuoka (2008), Santiago (2010), Stockholm (2012), Lisbon (2014) and Kaohsiung (2016).
In 2018 the Congress will return once again to Canada.
We look forward to welcoming you as part of this exciting Congress in a spectacular setting.
